A Meal Home Delivery Program for Seniors & Disabled Citizens in the Wilkins Township Area

Welcome to Meals For Friends! We are a nonprofit organization located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that delivers two meals a day, three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) to those who have signed up.


A hot meal and a bagged lunch are included. Meals are nutritious, freshly cooked comfort food that appeal to anyone. For those who wish to have additional days, arrangements can be made.

Where We Deliver

Meals for Friends will deliver to Wilkins Township and the immediate surrounding area, specifically Eastmont, Penn Center apartments and area, Gilmore Acres, Greensburg Pike, Forest Hills, Chalfont, and northern Penn Hills.

Interested in Receiving Meals?

The following residents who live in the above mentioned areas qualify to receive meals and a regular check-in from a Meals for Friends volunteer:

  • Seniors who are unable to fix meals for themselves; or
  • Disabled citizens who are unable to fix meals for themselves; or
  • Citizens recovering from injury or illness and may need meals on a short-term basis.

A $20.00 for 3 meals/week donation is suggested in order to support the program. Ask about other options Please contact us by filling in the form on the Contact tab or calling us at 412-824-2400.
